This morning I was in @Helenno33567401 's school talking about Chanukah and Judaism to Yr1&2, and had SO much fun.
Favourite moment was asking kids for their favourite fried food, ...and one very quiet kid suddenly burst out "cake!" . Not sure why it tickled me so much. Still 😂

Seriously - I've never felt that revolutionary action was necessary - but given the direction of so many so-called democracies at the moment - including ours, I can't help but feel that direct action - and more disruptive protest - is not only necessary, it's an obligation.

America is no longer a liberal democracy.

To my friends, family and colleagues who live there - sending love and strength in the struggle to reclaim your county from darkness.

We need to return to building democratic power and away from untrammeled corporate power in all sectors.

We need stronger regulation
We need weaker IP laws (except for artists)

We need a vision for change:
to tackle climate crisis and food / energy security;
a positive shift re Europe;
a shift towards an ethical immigration policy;
