long, RMS, civil rights, freedom, hypocrisy
This implication is simply bullshit.
I don't agree with #RMS on almost anything (not even the definition of free software which I consider too mild with corporations abuse).
But what happened at @fsf is disgusting.
Software is a form of expression.
Just for what he said.
The international crowd of cowards that lynched him over the #Web should lobby to get UN to institute an universal law on #ThoughtCrime so that #hackers will know which opinions cannot be expressed and will have the right to defend themselves in a court.
Meanwhile what happened to Stallman shows that nobody really care about Universal Human Rights. Nobody ever read nor understood them. I think you should really read them twice. In particular articles 18, 19 and 12.
If you attack a man instead of his arguments, you might defeat the man but not the arguments.
RMS "step down as head of GNU". I am sorry to hear this news. But thank you #RMS for your effort and persistence for software freedom for so many years.👍 💐

Let's Encrypt's ECDSA root certificate is postponed AGAIN?! I've already been waiting for 2 years...
It wouldn't provide much security benefits, but making the certificate chain fits within fewer TCP packets would speedup the handshake dramatically.
"There is no amount of regulation, transparency, or oversight that will fix the dangers inherent in widespread face surveillance. Only a full ban — a federal ban, covering the use of facial recognition by government agencies, in public places, and in public contracts with private entities — can prevent our nightmares from becoming reality." https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/evangreer/dont-regulate-facial-recognition-ban-it
