The Kanal Pompidou in Brussels is incredible. An enormous warehouse barely emptied, with grease and car parts and also great modern art sculptures, installations and films playing in dark corners.

If you think sharks are already strange, nobody knows where the word 'shark' came from. Consult the OED. And, likewise, nobody knows where the spanish/french name for shark ('tiburon') came from either. The words just appeared - in the 1500's. Europeans, basically, were unaware of sharks (the big ones, not dogfish) before then.
