@HedgeMage You got a fave fountain pen? I've got a Super5 that has been my for a couple months.

@stephen It would be hard to choose between my Namiki Vanishing Point and Kaweco AL-Sport for favorite #EDC pen.

Others that live on me most of the time:

* TWSBI Eco
* Lamy Studio
* Lamy Al Star
* Pilot Metropolitan

...yes, that's too many pens.

@HedgeMage I've got a Pilot Metro that I really like. I /had/ a TWSBI Eco that I really loved the enormous ink reservoir in it, but I gave it to a niece. Little bit of regret on that move.

@HedgeMage @stephen I recently got a Pilot Capless that I actually have no memory of life before.

@juliansimpson @stephen I think that's the same as the Namiki Vanishing Point I have, but branded for a different market?

@HedgeMage @stephen Oh is it? They are awesome. Yes, must be the same as Namiki make the ink.

@juliansimpson @stephen Pilot and Namiki are the same company, they just use the names differently in different markets. They have two retractable pens: a clicky one, and a twist one. The Vanishing Point is the clicky one.

@HedgeMage @juliansimpson How far into this rabbit hole have you two gotten? Gotten into paper as well?

@juliansimpson @HedgeMage I got ream of loose leaf Bellefontaine paper for $20. Garbage. No clue why its somehow different than the paper used their notebooks which is a dream. For now, it's Rhodia.

@stephen @HedgeMage Rhodia is great to write on. If you get a chance though, check out one of the Midori MD notebooks.

@juliansimpson @stephen I'm also a huge fan of Leuchtturm1917 notebooks...they have a bit of show-through, but don't feather and have a great value/durability ratio.

If you want to talk about ink...I have a few different makers, but I'm mostly a Noodler's addict.

Stephen @stephen

@HedgeMage @juliansimpson I've got one of their black inks. I don't remember the name, but it was a cool one, like whatever the Satan of octopi is, it's named after that individual. I'll probably go with a really dark color for my next one.
