Wow today is full of noticing things. Medium is behind a paywall. I guess it was never an issue reading an article here and there. Today I apparently reached my 5 articles for the month. Sad.

Not the kind of headline you expect to see in your news feed:

Thai king strips 'disloyal' consort of all titles in shock move

Sorry no podcast today. Bad sinus headache. It’s just been one of those kinds of unproductive sleep a lot weekends. 😕

Listening to Blowout by Rachel Maddow while I’m nursing a headache. Surprised by the amount of Oklahoma history in this book.

What Mark Zuckerberg doesn't understand about “free expression”

Facebook's decision to adopt conservative talking points shouldn't come as a surprise

And now he's messing with my holiday. Damn you Donald.

Okuna's roadmap

It's a slow roll out, but a realistic one. From what I'm seeing in the app now. They are at least heading in the right direction

Ha. I was wondering why hashtags weren't in the app. Now I know. Coming soon.

So far I'm liking the Okuna app. It's fun exploring this new service. I don't know when they will open it up to more people. I thought it would be sometime this quarter. We'll see.

My semi-regular mini facebook rant

I really really want to be off , but unfortunately I can't for business reasons. It's part of my job. I even had to reinstall the damn FB app on my phone. Not happy about it, but it is what it is. I'm very happy new services have launched like Mastodon, Pleroma, Okuna, and yes even MeWe (don't use it, but I'm okay it's there). The more options the better IMHO.

Today, Explained: Should Facebook let Trump lie?

President Trump lied in a Facebook ad and Facebook didn’t take it down so Elizabeth Warren lied, too. The Verge’s Casey Newton explains.

For some reason my alpha invite ended up in the spam folder. Just saw it this morning.

Have both the iOS and Android app previews now.

Of course I started an community. /c/oklahoma
