So, I've requested a photo of probably most succesful European politician in 2k, Angela Merkel, and yesterday it arrived. It's great to be a proud European Citizen and feel so welcomed in a different country. (Still, there is a proud Czech heart beating in my body).

Honza sepsal naprosto skvělý článek o generování z Flatpaků z RPM balíčků včetně příkladů! Ujistěte se, že jste ho přečetli :-)

@sesivany This is exactly same model as we are using in the office. This is a perfect mouse!

@mirek Sad story is, that LXC has issues as well. What is kinda interesting as the version 3.0.x should be cgroups v2 compatible...

Fedora 31 with GS 3.34 is again a huge improvement in response times and some cool effects have been added / reworked.

3.5k packages to be installed to fill the gasp between Fedora 30 and Fedora 31. I am super excited about this (as always)!

Let's reboot to Fedora 31, GS 3.34

@sesivany The great thing about Gnome Builder is ... Well you are flatpak ready in that moment when you press "Create Project" button.

Creating somethign made me always fun and as I was responsible for developing new LDAP server as sysadmin I've noticed, that friendly LDAP Browsing tool is missing. Well, I just started and using GNOME Builder with Glade UI Editor makes GTK development little bit easier. Few screenshots from WIP

YOU: so the A in RAID stands for "Array"?
US: Yes.
YOU: doesn't that mean saying "RAID array" is redundant?
US: Of course. That's what the R is for.

Pro-hint: If you add a DEB repository, you need to update the cache, otherwise will you debug wrong version of the software.

I never really made it to be a C guy, there is a variant for C++ binding using gtkmm. My hobby projects are always done with Python.

Things I love about Python

You can use comma after last item in declaration. This comma is just ignored. What is the bonus? You don't have to focus on not adding comma while generating some data from text file.

My usecase:
Just parsing with awk emulating Python list and pasting into Python shell)

When is that really usefull? For definition of single item tuple, try this:
>>> type((1))
<class 'int'>
>>> type((1, ))
<class 'tuple'>

Have you ever made a symbolic icon for a GNOME app and wanted to test if it recolors correctly?

If you open a 16x16px SVG in Icon Preview, it shows the icon in a number of realistic situations. It even auto-reloads if you change the file.

Get the app on Flathub

Recently, the handling of online defamation has become a hot topic on many mass media as well as social media channels. News Article for Reference: In response to these reports, it is expected that lawsuits and disclosure requests will become more publicly known; and government agencies will order stricter enforcement in addition to tightening regulations.
