@loke @trevorb If these two ideas were to co-exist, roads would need to be largely underground and given the complexity of infrastructure in many major cities, this would be pretty much unsustainable. This is not a technology problem (as you've pointed out), it could be "achieved" with cars in their current form.
@Gargron First few episodes employ every fantasy trope ever. It gets better from there and is quite a fun series. The non-linearity of it all is not as obvious at the start as it should be.
For real like Bandcamp is exactly the kind of service we *hoped* the internet would give us: “hey, people make things, they set their own price inc. free, we provide the storefront, you buy it and the money goes to the creator, you get it in a DRM-free format and can play it however you want, we just make money to keep going & improving and aren’t a VC-funded nightmare company of rampant reckless growth that will do something nightmarish and implode.”
We need more media platforms like that.
@WAHa_06x36 I feel like this needs to be a Wikipedia list article — "List of authors who turned out to be awful people"
@bclindner according to the FAQ, they've given themselves a ~4000 year release buffer. So I'm personally looking forward to playing it on the Nintendo Switch 5261-XL
Some things that were added in this build ✨

Over the past several months I have been chipping away at a #mastodon client for iOS called Mercury.
I am excited that it is now available for beta testing! There's a sign up link at https://onmercury.app with only a handful of spots available to begin with and I will add more testers as time goes on.
This being the first beta, there are still some bugs to be squished and some UI to be polished. Issues and feature requests can be reported here: https://github.com/dNitza/mercury-issues
