It's technically a downgrade from my current phone, but that's somewhat subjective, given the fact that my current phone doesn't actually work properly. And the battery on the new phone is gigantic and should last 2 days on a single charge, even with pretty heavy use. I'm willing to sacrifice performance a little bit if it means I can have awesome battery life.

I really don't understand sites that run a blog, and invest good time in making the content awesome, but don't have a feed for it. I really am not going to come back top your site every day, and I don't want to have to follow you on social media to know when you update.

Why do sites do this?

What nobody told you about the tech bubble: as the pressure rises to pay back investors on the millions they pumped in, the strategy shifts from: "haha try our hip social networking app, teens! yolo harambe dog filters" to "haha hey you're hip, don't you want to shop at the Gap Old Navy Forever 21 please click all these ads also we've learned your underwear size through tracking"

And yes I stand up for my freedom to do what I please on my server because it is the right thing to do.

And I am outspoken about it because I do not want others to feel bullied into complying with demands of a few who insist on absolute freedom of speech in private spaces. Because they don't. No one has to do anything because they're told to.

I do not consider harassment "protected speech" either and I think anyone who does is a fucking idiot.

Set *your* own policies on *your server* dammit.

I find it absurd that people cannot differentiate public and private rights.

It's like... I have certain rights on my own property... I can throw you out for any reason. It's *my property*.

People don't get that. The same people who advocate for property rights advocate for the right to say whatever you want under my roof and I can't throw you out, when it's *my place* I pay *real money* for and *you don't pay a dime*.

My server is not easement either. It is not a sidewalk.

Wow, only 1 in 10 posts on my federated timeline is in English and it goes by so fast I can't even scan it for contact. So thats becoming useless for discovery :/
