I've yet to dig into whether it's the ActivityPub/Mastodon protocol, clients, or servers that are janky, but:
* I often get a follower, but can't see their profile/posts from my clients. (because they're on a loaded server? Or my clients can't fetch from the origin server?) In any case, empty display with no context/error/info is lame.
* Similarly, I often see a popular post (er, toot) with lots of comments, but no likes.
I haven't made it through all the iOS clients yet. Recommendations?
Oh my, how those five years of inactivity here fly by. Hi fellow let's use Mastodon just in case folks.
Mastodon users are friendly and helpful.
Local timeline shows a bunch of people I presume are on _this_ Mastodon instance. Federated timeline maybe everyone everywhere? So how to I get the timeline of just those I've followed?
So this is kinda confusing? I clearly _have_ followed people yet I have no timeline and "You aren't following anyone yet" just displays. Cool?
And so it begins.
