New tools, new challenges. Is there a trick for applying solder paste without a stencil? Hot plate+paste works great for ground/thermal pads, but fine pitch pins just end up dry or shorted so far. I'm more proficient with iron+wick so I'm doing the rest that way now.

I recently bought a manual solder paste syringe gun to see if that helps. Just received first boards in going to try it on. Just waiting on components.
