@jlward Yup, we agree. And in the process, we're each introducing more nuance to the subject. Gotta love a platform that encourages conversation, huh? :-)
One thing I do enjoy about Mastodon is the expanded character limit. 500 characters seems to be the perfect amount to express a thought while preventing a full essay about a topic. It's a very nice middle ground.
Is there a way to find a Local or Federated Timeline that is in English? Maybe a language filter? Currently, it appears all of the messages posted in those timelines is in Japanese.
