About toot.cat, I'm gonna miss it, though hopefully I won't have to miss it too much because federation. I really enjoyed being there and the people are great. A whitelist probably doesn't work for me because I'm trying to get the word out about a federation standard, but all the best for what toot.cat needs!

@jjatria There's an import/export .csv thing but I didn't realized it so I ended up doing it manually because I was too lazy to look up API things and I didn't realize that. oops!
@cwebber Gotta love those "I'm to lazy to figure out how to do it properly, so I'll do the whole thing by hand" moments ☺️
But even with those export/import options, you the migration doesn't do anything about people who follow you. I remember reading something about a proposed feature that would add some sort of redirect flag from one account to the other, but I don't think it's been entirely ironed out. Sounds tricky.
@jjatria Yeah, I'm afraid I'm at less than 1/3 of the people who were following me on my toot.cat account. Hopefully they'll pick up the move.

I don't have a problem with it; admins are free to make that decision for the needs of them and their users. It probably just doesn't meet my needs, since I'm trying to get the word out about federation standards.
