developers: You can now add janitor.debian.net as webhook in your Salsa or GitHub repositories that host Debian packages in the main archive - and trigger a quick lintian-brush or multi-arch fixes rerun by the Janitor.

@hansw freemo is right - I think for what people generally do, Python's approach is reasonable. It doesn't really work if you need hard guarantees about the performance of the data structures.

@hansw@mastodon.social pretty sure Debian is not moving over to snaps any time soon - they're a canonical thing.

@hansw@mastodon.social @debian No pre-built template that I'm aware of, and I've considered creating one - but whenever I need to create a backport I always just do the one-off instead, since it's usually urgent.
