My only #NewYearResolution will be 'use your stickers', as it has been every year for a long time.
It's not just sticker-specific, but a reminder that leaving the sticker on the sheet does nothing. Choosing something to stick it on means it will bring you joy. Might that joy be impermanent? Yes, but everything has the potential to be impermanent, and what joy is there in leaving the sticker on the sheet?
Burn that nice candle you bought for the smell. Use that bath bomb. Enjoy that snack treat. #UseYourStickers.

I love getting sick whenever I leave my home ๐ซ my brain is now registering people outside of my household as literal germs. Iโm more anxious to leave for even mundane errands.
I signed up for ski โท๏ธ lessons in the new year! Iโm so excited to try something new and invest in my personal well-being (something that has been sidelined since becoming a parent)

Also #mastodon feels new and exciting as a communication/micro-blog for me given that I have been in a little hiatus from contributing #rstats content for a couple years now.
Things on the bird site had felt so performative and a quest on proving my knowledge and therefore my worth to the OSS community. Becoming a parent has really changed my perspective and priorities (and honestly my ๐ง )โฆ All this is to say that I have no idea what Iโll be tooting about but thanks for reading this far.
