@geobabbler boo. I keep trying to bargain 2-3 year lease for rent that stays the same and they look at me funny - then I remember they make more $ rotating tenants in and out vs stable tenancy.

@thepoisontart Since they're going to increase anyway, what if you try to meet in the middle and negotiate a fixed increase? Keep it manageable for you and be able to plan for it.

@geobabbler they're unwilling to do anything other than standard leases. The management company is not in town, and every time I ask about options for *anything* (even beneficial to them) I get shut down. They just own the property as a revenue stream.
