Thinking about cultural assumptions in starship architecture.
Would a generation ship designed by Muslims have designated prayer rooms with gyroscopic floors that orient themselves toward Earth?
I imagine Hindu or Shinto starship designers would include niches for shrines right from the start.
A Chinese long-voyage ship could re-institute the lunar calendar since there's no sun to deal with any more.
