#mastodon #language #filter I've forked the original mastodon-language-remover to remove its 3rd party API calls *and* to filter out toots that use non-English characters e.g. Japanes, Spanish, French, German.
It feels a bit crap to be filtering languages I don't understand fully, but all the extra toots are leaving my timeline unusable. Give it a go:
The language filter needs to make an appearance fast. I'd love to understand every language in the world, but I don't and Mastodon has become completely unusable.
