Very weird side effect of my eye accident: I think it triggered brumation in one of my lizards. How? I stopped using their room (which is also my computer room) at night, as the screen hurt my eyes....
As the accident happened in August, they have for the first time experienced a natural decrease in daylight time, and it's now been 4 weeks that La Grosse has not eaten, while being super lethargic and not losing a single gram (I weigh her every week).

In case I am wrong, I sent an email to a fellow Matobosaurus validus owner in Europe, but from my knowledge, they do change behaviour during the bad season. In all cases, I can't do much except force-feed her if she loses weight, and a vet won't know how this species works.
