One of the potential problems with the stages of acceptance is that one might imaging that the current crisis is some monolithic thing that one must come to accept... and yet it is more like waves of many changes & challenges one must face, each acceptance revealing another set.

Imagine the USA going to war... and insisting that it is up to each of the 50 individual states to obtain rifles, tanks and planes, from the free market, to arm the soldiers they are sending to the front lines.

I know... that is hard to imagine...

The “irony” (not sure it is ironic) of any over focus on Resource Efficiency is that it interferes with Flow Efficiency, which increases Work in Process making Resource Effeciency goals more difficult to achieve...

If I understand COVID-19’s disease progression... the symptoms appear 2-14 days after exposure (infection). If the peak if IDENTIFIED cases is in ~14 days... those people are already infected and walking around.

COVID-19 is non-sentient, it can’t make decisions... it doesn’t “continue to spread”

HUMANS continue to spread COVID-19 by: touching their faces w/ contaminated hands... touching contaminated surfaces... interacting with each other in public... etc.
