Geopard is a fast and modern client for interacting with the Gemini web protocol. You can open different tabs, explore with the Geminispace search engine and save bookmarks in a text file for the app to read. It even prompts you to open http URLs in another web browser, if you happen to click on a link outside of the Gemini protocol
You can get the app on Flathub here: https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.ranfdev.Geopard
You can follow the app's creator here: @ranfdev
Did some work yesterday putting together packaging for the macOS version and uh... I guess I just can't help myself
A few benefits of Mastodon (and this instance in particular):
- No ads
- No selling your data
- Nazi instances, etc. are cut off entirely. You won't see them and they won't see you.
- 500 character limit
- Profile metadata (for pronouns, etc)
- Per post privacy settings
- Content warnings
- Instant and true account deletion
- LGBTQ+ friendly
- No Nazis/racists/transphobes/etc.
- Fucking cool admin (maybe)

It's an animated GIF where every frame is a valid QR code that leads to the "Never Gonna Give You Up" rickroll.
That's kind of amazing.

This is why I like the Fediverse. We unite around one common cause: Stupidity!
