There's no sound in space, but astronomers are working on ways to listen to the sound *of* space.

Sonification allows us to explore the universe in non-visual ways (like hearing lightning on Saturn, below). It also opens up astronomy to people with different sensory experiences of the world.

@coreyspowell Actually, there is sound in space. Nasa reported on the lowest sound ever observed: B-flat fifty-seven octaves below middle C.
