As we enter this season of gratitude we wanted to share some love.

First, shout out to our /dev/color members! Y’all are the most incredible Black technologists around, and /dev/color exists because of you and the way you show up with and for each other.

Sponsoring clearances you say? 🤔

The Secret Service is hiring for ServiceNow Developer roles and sponsoring clearances. Must be a US citizen!

Five months ago, I discussed the importance of doing your homework in interview prep.

I also warned against companies and bootcamps taking advantage of folks transitioning into tech, making guarantees they can't keep.

I'm working every day to connect you with trustworthy info.

Lewis Meyers🥑 is doing the work. Hire this man.

Check him out on LinkedIn. He is a difference maker for so many people breaking into tech, and I count him as a colleague and friend.

Some of you know me as Coach Lewis or DevRel Lewis. I thought I would make this post to put myself further into the devrel space and make myself known.

The largest misconception is how some of these “tech influencers” on TikTok suggest you can code and make 200k overnight by attending a bootcamp.

Nah fam, it took me 20 years to get here, and with todays YouTube university, it could take you 2-4, but ain’t no magic overnight.

Absolutely this. And read your employee contracts people!

Please invest in protecting your IP.

Over the years I've learned that most assumptions about someone else's infrastructure needs tend to be wrong. Context matters.

Cloud has its own limitations and the best way to help customers is by finding the right balance between their architecture and ours.

At a certain scale all systems break. That's when you learn the most.

Thanks; I’ll use this the next time I interview in the systems design round when they ask to “design Twitter”. Interviews are weird sometimes; probably still fail.

Found this YouTube channel last night "Raw Coding" with lots of deep dives into how bits of .NET and ASP.NET Core work #dotnet #aspnetcore
