After a teacher discovered my physical abuse at 4 years old, I was raised a foster kid in Compton. I taught myself to code at 8 yo and later pursued a degree in CS.

I went on to become one of the 1% at Google who were Black and a software engineer. Now, I run Morgan Latimer LLC full-time to help light the way for the next generation of technologists.

Follow me for career and interview advice.

My favorite programming technology is still "copy-paste".

It's cross platform with support for the full stack. Works with any IDE or text editor.

For aspiring golang devs, remember:
- Consumers should define interfaces, not producers.
- your functions/methods can accept interfaces, but return concrete types.

Avoids many pitfalls πŸ˜ͺ

It's a full circle moment for me.

If you see me, you better dap me up.
