Spending time with the dog as much as possible these days now that she's been diagnosed with cancer. She's still happy and pain free so far, but I want to get every moment in.

@allianora Oh, yeah, I just found out on Monday night. The doc was basically giving me the option of surgery instead of demanding it, and after I looked up what was wrong with her (spindle cell sarcoma), I realized why-- they have to take huge margins when removing the tumor and the recurrence rate is really high even with surgery, plus most older dogs die of something unrelated, anyway, so we're just going to bear it out.

@allianora Thank you. I always knew how I would approach this kind of thing (letting her enjoy the time left with a high quality of life rather than doing extensive surgery and chemo) but I didn't expect to have to make that decision this week or anything.
