How is Grim Dawn? It's like Diablo, Path of Exile and Titan Quest had a threesome and made a baby. And that baby is grim dawn. A bit rough around the edges, you can't really tell who was the father (quite possibly titan quest) but OMG, it has a skill tree. It also has something like the map of stars in path of exile. The controls are miles better and more responsive. So far, I'm having fun in single player. I still have to experience multiplayer and the rest. But for $14 or £10? Yes please!
Maybe it's the skill tree which is not a tree but a fucking map of the stars? Skills from gems? Doesn't sound like a bad idea but you have over 100 different gems, no sense of achievement when you level up or you level the gems. It's like they tried too hard to make path of exile cool, new and refreshing. So what else do we have? Not much. But the other day I decided to give in and bought Grim Dawn. #grimdawn And I hoped that it would be something like diablo used to be. #gaming #pc
So I was all emotional. Went back to play diablo 2 but it's not the same anymore. The devs don't care. Bots everywhere, duping got worse. Diablo 3 is crap, what do we have then? Torchlight was OK. I think the cartoony graphics killed it. Patch of exile? I honestly cannot put my finger on it what's wrong with it but something just doesn't sit right like a blind cat at the edge of a table. Maybe because it's gloomy in a weird way? Maybe because the controls? #gaming #pc
Do we need PvP in diablo 3? Nah, nobody played PvP in diablo 2 either! NOT! Here everything rolls with your character's main stats. How convenient? Do you suck at the game? Don't worry, start a new ladder and you can get a full set just by completing achievements. Okay, no PvP, let's trade some stuff. I've found a fancy legendary that my character cannot use. Nope, you're not allowed. We could not implement a cash shop properly, fuck you, you're not trading in this game. Simple as that. #gaming
As long as you played diablo 2 and more than 5 hours because I spent years playing that game and as long as you are not blinded by marketing you have to see how it's nothing more than a dumbed down version of what it used to be. Rune words? Who needs them? Rare weapons? They're pointless. They never roll with any stats that would be better than a legendary. Or an ancient legendary. Or an ancient ancient ancient legendary on torment level 98 because that's what we need. #gaming #pc
Did you pre-order Diablo 3 when it was announced? Took a day off to be able to play it all night and day on launch day? Were you incredibly pissed off when it launched at 10PM and you could not get onto the servers until midnight? Because sure as hell I was! But that was nothing compared to how I was the next day after playing the game for 10 hours and realising that it's an utter pile of monkey piss! Alright, the fan boys will defend it.
