@Gargron she can't ban it, even if she wants to! The cat's already out of the bag, and it is just maths. So bad guys will only use non-commercial solutions if her plan goes through.
Besides, I don't want my bank account details floating around the Internet unencrypted. Or any other of my password field inputs.
