I sold a copy of A Noble's Quest the other day on Amazon, and realized I also posted here a couple days ago with a link to my books...
I hadn't thought of this angle, but the Local/Federated channels - while undoubtedly spammy - give you the opportunity to showcase your work to the whole world of people you don't know.
What other social platform does that for you so easily?

While I have a lot of different interests, the one that I use social media for the most is talking about writing. I am working on finishing my first epic fantasy trilogy, Empire's Foundation. I've also written a few short stories and a novella related to the books. You can find all of them exclusively on Amazon.

@jlward Do you know where to get the mobile app? I looked on Google Play and when I searched for Mastodon, the first app in the list was Tusky. Not sure if that's right.
