Today, we are pleased to announce the release of MauiKit and Maui Apps 1.1.0!.
"The 1.1.0 version brings updates, new features, bug fixes, and an improved cross-platform and convergent experience from the framework to the apps. For this first full release, the packages are distributed directly from the MauiKit official webpage."
We use Kvantum as the theme engine; you can select it from other styles in System Settings incl. The default of Plasma, which is Breeze. To change the Kvantum theme, you must use Kvantum Theme Manager and select the theme you want, in this case, KvNitrux.
Once that's done, open and close the opened programs for the theme to take effect and that's it, the theme works fine.
And you've wondered, 'I like the dark theme, but I want to use the light theme too' and change it using System Settings only to see it like this and think ' why? This theme is broken; they include a broken theme' let us explain what is happening.
Together with the AppImage integration that we already include it means that the program that you download is added to the application menu immediately.
It also means that you are not required to use sudo to add new software.
It follows a familiar workflow where you can search for an AppImage, and it will download it to your home directory, specifically ~/Applications.
"There has been a lot of work into the Maui Project, and the Nitrux team has been actively working on the apps, the framework, and the libraries to make the convergence experience something unique and reliable for our first stable release."
