Are hot cross buns a thing anywhere else in the world? Tell me how you feel about raisins?

@NattyGov Hot Cross buns are pretty big here in the UK. They are on sale for a few months prior to Easter.
@Ian_Fry I once saw hot cross buns in a store in December. Was so confused. Wasn't sure if Jesus was coming or going. 🤔
@NattyGov I don't know if it's just US raisins, but they always seem gritty and oversweet. It seems an awful waste of grapes, IMHO. Especially when they could be wine, or jam, or in chicken salad.
