From Amy Klobuchar

"Up to 90 percent of small entertainment venues across the country—like First Avenue—could close down if we don’t support them during this pandemic. We must pass my bill that will help artists, venues, and our economy."

It's #100Days until Election Day.

Trump was elected with roughly 1/4 of all eligible voters. We can do better than this. We must.

We want to defeat him and Republicans in November. We will defeat them in November if we all get involved, get others involved, and fight hard until and maybe after November 3rd.

Here are some ways we can do that. THREAD 1/9 #BlueWave2020 :biden2020: :registertovote: :voteblue2:

Note it says, "China prefers that President Trump not win reelection." Agreed. Most of the world prefers Trump not win reelection, which does not indicate intent to meddle in the election.

"Russia is using a range of measures to primarily denigrate former vice president Biden." There's a difference.

Interference should be denounced.

Russia is trying to ‘denigrate’ Biden while China prefers ‘unpredictable’ Trump not be reelected, senior U.S. intelligence official says:

“Based on a Cro-Magnon skinning chant” is too accurate for comfort. We need to fire the composer and hire an easy listening composer for 2021.

I lost a friend this week. They didn’t have COVID-19; it was a sudden thing, which makes it even more shocking, in some ways. If there are things you want your friends and family to know, it’s better not to put off telling them. You may not get the chance if you wait too long.

Mike Pompeo is not motivated by serving the American people. Waiting until July is pure cowardice in order to avoid crossing his boss and put service members in harm's way for months. It is clear that Secretary Pompeo wants credit for this, otherwise it would not have been reported in this manner. Shame on you, Secretary Pompeo.

Of course Trump and Putin have already spoken twice as many times this year as last year. There's a presidential election to be stolen.

Why would Trump's Secretary of State "sternly" warn the Russians about doing something Trump says is a hoax? There's not a single member of the GOP in Congress willing to stand up.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is said to have sternly discussed payouts and red lines in a telephone call with Sergey V. Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister: nyti.ms/3fzI1v3

The Trump appointee for National Parks wasn't even able to be confirmed and has been "acting" all of this time, and now will be replaced by a lobbyist who won't be confirmed, either.

@SteveRogers I'm so tired of him circumventing confirmation hearings with these 'acting' chiefs. This shouldn't be a thing. I can think of no other place where on a nearly daily basis someone who cannot pass a job interview is still given a high level position.

MAGA 2020 - now delivering COVID-19 door to door.

We have to counteract this because they won't stop. The difference in tightly contested areas could end up being determined by our calls, texts, and letters or postcards to voters to get out the vote for Democrats.

Make sure you're signed up with at least one effort. #BlueWave2020 #GOTV

Leadership starts from the top and even before the virus appeared, we had no leadership from the Oval Office.

The pandemic crisis has exposed this lack of leadership. When faced with the enormity and severity of the health crisis unfolding, what did Donald Trump do? He treated it like it was not a big deal, that it would fade away soon, and that our experts were blowing it way out of proportion.

Then add in his mockery of wearing a mask, of the experts, his petty fights with governors, and his utter lack of caring or concern for the numbers of our citizens dying on a daily basis.

The Republican Party followed him down this path. Trump is certainly not responsible for the arrival of the virus. But he, his administration, and the Republican Party are absolutely responsible for their failure to take the required actions right from the start and do their absolute best to control it. 2/2

Don't know about you, but I will sure sleep easier tonight!

The economy is in tatters, thousands are dying daily from COVID-19, but our president is going to keep us safe from kids using 15-second videos to message each other and occasionally mess up a Trump rally.

People returning to their same jobs because their mayors and governors allowed businesses to reopen is not 'adding jobs'.

Plus, this unemployment number was only captured through July 15 and doesn’t include the 1.4 million jobs lost last week.
