But that also means that this issue is not insurmountable. That's a vanishingly small number of people!

@JoshuaACNewman Fascinating topic, thank you fro bringing it up! The problem is, you can't avoid this by simply building a different kind AI -- because others are still building their capitalism-bots and it's enough for *one* of them to go feral for us to have big trouble.
I think the solution is to find ways in which humans (and human-controlled tools) can compete with those AI-driven things. This will probably change us irreversibly, but there still will be continuity.
