Of these three media types, which one takes up the biggest part of your free time: reading, television, or video games?
@Guide42XYZ Excellent choice.
@Jefferson If you count the 70-80 websites I check every day, reading. If not, then it's a toss-up between reading and TV. I don't play video games unless you count Mah Jongg solitaire.-)
@arjaybe I was thinking books rather than all text materials, but each reader decides what counts for themselves. :-) And I share your lack of interest in vgames.
@Jefferson How 'bout you. Reading or TV?
I wonder what would happen if you included smart phones / tablets in the choices.
@arjaybe For me reading is highest, games lowest, and TV only in binge-watching bursts when I find something worth my time.
Reading (from computer)
Reading (novels)
But then, I am retired, so all of my time is "free".
@Jefferson I'd have to say TV. Netflix is dangerous. Used to be reading, then computer gaming. Main reason I'm reading less in my free time though is the fact I do so much of it in my not free time.
@Jefferson Reading.
Television has become nearly content-free.
Video-games are fun but not challenging.
