I'm guessing using a DVI to HDMI cable on an HDMI to USB-C adapter doesn't work. Mac Mini M1 shows a display for exactly 30 seconds before blanking out everytime. Windows 11 doesn't even recognize it.
@nevynh thanks, looks like I've gotten it figured out. It just didn't like running it at 75hz, even though it's supported. And my PC wouldn't show because its USB-C isn't rated for DisplayPort.
@EmmaKelley not all hdmi/DVI adapters are created equal. I had a problem where I had bought a classroom lot of adapters and nothing was working. Turns out that there are single channel and double channel hdmi/DVI adapters.
Anyway... It might be worth trying a couple. I could even send you out one of you get stuck.
