Can I propagate my Mastodon profile from one instance to another, or do I have to open and claim the same name across every instance? This is a lot simpler on a centralized network, but it would be nice if I could be Down10 everywhere, not just at Mastadon.cloud.

I really want this service to be as good as Twitter, but I'm just not feelin' it at the moment. There's special about Twitter that is missing in Mastadon, but I can quite place it. Hmm. 🤔
